Editor’s Notes: The Birth of Stylus

APR 20, 2026

Why is everything so hard these days?

Without saying that we’re tired of reading the same stories every day, Stylus began as a joke. One night, as I was taking a shower, I thought about how I couldn’t find a job of my own, how I had tried so hard to be heard that I ended up becoming silent.

In today’s society, journalists struggle to be heard, authors fight to find space within fan fiction communities, and everything has to trend on TikTok to be considered relevant.

Although I felt hopeless, an idea took over my mind — and suddenly, everything changed.

What if I became my own boss? If working for a communication company or magazine wasn’t working out, what if I created my own?

That’s where Stylus was born.

To be honest, I couldn’t care less if anyone reads this or not. This is about trying to be useful and doing what I love most: writing.

If you’re reading this, then let me tell you: Stylus is about lifestyle, art, music, literature, fashion, and experiences. Like a diary, but without its deeply personal appeal, Stylus is a form of self-expression.

So… will I see you around?
